The Voice of Gibraltar Group expresses its appreciation for the response from the public at Eastern Beach last Sunday and to the RGP, for its assistance during the day.

Four volunteers from The Voice of Gibraltar Group were collecting signatures for the 'UN Visit' petition organised by the Council of Representative Bodies. During a five hour period 1,200 people signed., the great majority of which were adults.

The exercise took longer that expected as members of The Group, more often than not, had to explain the significance and purpose of the petition.

On Tuesday 29th. July, it will the turn of Catalan Bay, as from 2 p.m. and on Thursday 31st. July, Mount Alvernia from 11.45 a.m.

Details of other areas and dates will be announced when these are arranged with the co-ordinator of the Council of Representative Bodies.
